This Privacy Policy explains how Nimraya collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the service.

2.1 Account information
When you create an account, we store your email address and authentication data. If you choose social login (for example, Google), we may also receive your name and profile image from that provider. We do not request or store your name for email/password accounts.
2.2 Dreams and interpretations
When you submit a dream, we store your dream text, the AI-generated interpretation (including title, interpretation, symbols, emotional state, hidden message, advice and similar fields), as well as timestamps and links to your user ID. Your dreams are only visible to you when you are logged in.
2.3 Voice input
If you choose to speak your dream instead of typing it, your voice is used only for speech-to-text. We do not store your audio; only the resulting transcribed text is sent to our backend and stored as dream text.
2.4 Technical and usage data
Our infrastructure providers may process your IP address, country or region, and basic device and browser information for security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and to display approximate currency or regional pricing. We do not store IP addresses in our own application database.
2.5 Payments
Payments are processed by external payment providers such as Iyzico. We do not collect or store your full card number. We may receive limited information such as a transaction ID, masked card details, and payment status so we can manage your purchases and access to paid features.
2.6 Cookies, local storage, and IndexedDB
We use a small number of cookies and local storage mechanisms to keep Nimraya functional and pleasant to use. This includes authentication/session cookies, theme preferences (dark/light), language/locale, and, where enabled, temporary drafts or cached conversation history stored in local storage or IndexedDB. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.
2.7 Communication data
If you contact us, we store the content of your message, your email address, and any other information you choose to provide, so that we can respond and improve our support.
How we use your information
- To provide and maintain the Service, including storing and displaying your dreams and interpretations.
- To process dream interpretations via AI and return results in the language and style you selected.
- To personalize your experience, such as language, theme, and regional pricing.
- To process payments, manage access to paid features, and handle refunds.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and detect suspicious activity.
- To understand how Nimraya is used and improve the Service using aggregated insights.
- To comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules.
Legal bases for processing
Where data protection law (such as GDPR) applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract – to provide the Service you requested, including account creation, dream storage, and interpretations.
- Legitimate interests – to keep the Service secure, prevent fraud, understand usage, and display approximate pricing.
- Consent – for optional features (such as long-term conversation history or certain cookies) where you actively opt in.
- Legal obligations – to keep records required by law.
AI processing and third-party providers
To generate interpretations, we send your dream text and relevant context to our AI provider (currently OpenAI) via API. We do not share your payment details or account password with the AI model.
We choose configurations and providers that, where possible, limit the use of your data for training general models, in line with their documentation.
We also rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, databases, and payments. These providers process data on our behalf under data protection agreements.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Service providers (hosting, authentication, AI, payments, and similar providers).
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or similar business transfer, where permitted by law.
Data retention
We keep your dreams and interpretations while your account is active, until you delete them or delete your account. Payment records are kept as required by tax and accounting rules. Security and technical logs are kept for a limited time for diagnostics and safety. We may anonymize certain data and keep it for analytics and improvement.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, and withdrawing consent for certain processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Age requirement
Nimraya is intended only for individuals who meet the legal digital-consent age in their country or region. In many places this is 16, while in Türkiye and some other jurisdictions it is 18. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet the age requirement where you live. If we learn that an account belongs to someone below the required age, we may delete or restrict the account in accordance with applicable law.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and limited access to production systems. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards over time.
International transfers
Because we use global providers for hosting, AI processing, and payments, your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and data processing agreements with our providers.
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top, and where changes are significant we may provide additional notice in the app or by email.
